Dates

An event page can have one date or several. Each date has its own guest list and RSVP link.

Open the RSVPs tab. It shows one date at a time.

Switching between dates

When the event has more than one date, a row at the top shows the date you are on. Click it to open the Dates dialog, which lists every date with its start, how many are attending, and its status. Click a date to open it.

Adding a date

Owners can add a date in two places:

  • Add a date in the Dates dialog.
  • Add another date at the bottom of Event details, when the event has one date.

Either way, Webplo creates a new date as a Draft and opens its Event details. Fill them in, then set the Status to Published so the date takes RSVPs. See Event details.

Status

Status Meaning
Draft Not taking RSVPs yet.
Published Guests can RSVP with your link.
Closed No new RSVPs. The guest list stays as it is.

Until a date is published, the RSVP link tile says “Publish this date to start taking RSVPs with this link.”

Deleting a date

When an event has several dates, Event details shows Delete this date. The dialog Delete this date? says: “This removes the date and its guest list for good. Confirmed guests will be told.” Click Delete date to confirm. You cannot delete the only date of an event.
