Confirming & Declining Guests

Approve or remove guests — from the guest list or straight from your email.

When a guest responds, you decide who's in. You can act on the Guest list or from the “New RSVP” email you receive.

Confirming a guest

  • On the guest list, click Confirm on a pending, maybe, or waitlisted guest. You'll see “Guest confirmed.”
  • Or click Confirm guest in the “New RSVP” email (no login needed).

The guest receives “You're confirmed” with a calendar invite.

Declining a guest

Click Decline. You'll be asked “Decline this RSVP?”“The guest will be notified that their spot has been cancelled, and we'll send a calendar update.” Confirm with Decline RSVP. You'll see “RSVP declined.”

Good to know

  • If your event is at capacity you'll see “The event is at capacity.” and the guest can't be confirmed until a spot opens.
  • Some actions become unavailable once a guest's status changes — you'll see “That action is no longer available for this guest.”
  • Guests can update their own response any time using the link in their email.
