Checkout and building
Start your free trial with Stripe's secure payment form, then watch Webplo build your site.
After Start free trial, the wizard's last screen, Start your free trial, shows Stripe's secure payment form. You stay on Webplo. There is no plan screen in the wizard. Your site starts on the plan and billing period you picked on the pricing page, or Solo billed monthly if you picked none. You can switch plans later on the site's Billing page.
What to do
- Enter your card details in the form and confirm.
“14 days free. Your card is not charged until day 14. Cancel any time, and your first payment is refundable for 30 days.”
If you click Back without paying, you return to the wizard with “Checkout canceled, nothing was charged. Your answers are saved, start your free trial when you are ready.”
If you paid but the confirmation is slow, you see “We are confirming your payment …”. Refresh the page after a minute. Do not start a second checkout.
Building your website
After checkout, Webplo shows Building your site with “Hang tight, this usually takes about two minutes.” It lists three steps:
- Writing your content
- Configuring your site
- Running final checks
You can leave the page. “We'll email you the moment your site is ready.” When the build finishes you see Your site is live, then the launch page.
If the build fails
You see Something went wrong with “We couldn't finish setting up your website.” Your answers are kept, and the page tells you whether you were charged.
- If your trial is already running, click Resume my build. Your card has not been charged.
- Otherwise click Pick up where I left off (or Try again) to return to the wizard.
