How Guests RSVP
What your guests see when they respond to your event invitation.
When you share your RSVP link, guests land on a simple page that shows the event details and a short response form.
The guest's experience
- They see your event title, date/time, venue, and description.
- Under “Will you be there?” (“Let us know if you can make it.”) they choose Yes, Maybe, or No.
- They enter Your name, Email, optional Phone, How many guests? (“Including yourself.”), and an optional Note.
- They click Send RSVP.
What happens next
- Confirmed: “You're going!” — “Your spot is confirmed. We've emailed you the details.”
- Pending: “Thanks — got it!” — “We've received your response and emailed you a copy.”
- Waitlisted: “You're on the waitlist” — “The event is full, but we'll let you know if a spot opens up.”
- Declined: “Maybe next time” — “Thanks for letting us know you can't make it.”
Guests can return via “Need to change your response?” to update their RSVP.
Closed or invite-only events
- After the deadline: “RSVPs are closed” — “This event is no longer accepting responses.”
- Invite-only: “By invitation only” — guests must use the personal link from their invitation.
- At capacity (no waitlist): “This event is full” — “All spots have been taken.”
