General
Set the site's name inside Webplo, and choose whether Webplo may feature your site.
Open the Site tab and click General. The page says “The name we use for this site in Webplo and in your notifications. Visitors do not see it.”
Site name
- Click the Site name row.
- Type a name and click Save.
You see the confirmation “Site label updated.” This name is not shown on your website. To change the name visitors see, use the site editor. See Site name.
Webplo showcase
The Webplo showcase switch reads “Let Webplo feature your site as an example.” It saves as soon as you flip it and confirms with “Webplo Portfolio updated.”
The switch is not available in some cases. The row under it says why:
- On a temporary address: “Pick a real web address first. Temporary addresses are never listed on Google or in the portfolio.” Owners see a Choose an address link.
- During the trial: “Available after your first payment on …” with a date. Owners see Manage billing.
- With no subscription: “Available once your site is subscribed.” Owners see Subscribe.
Delete this site
Owners see a Delete this site row under the other settings. It removes the site and everything on it for good, for everyone on its team. Your account and your other sites stay as they are.
- Click Delete this site.
- Click Email me a code and enter the six-digit code we send you.
- Click Delete this site to confirm.
What happens depends on the site's plan:
- During a free trial you pay for: the trial ends at once and your card is not charged.
- With no plan: the site is removed.
- On a paid plan: Webplo says “This site is on a paid plan. Cancel the plan on its Billing page first. The site is removed when the plan ends.” and shows Go to Billing.
- On a plan that is already canceled: “The plan of this site is already canceled. The site is removed when the plan ends.”
- During a free trial someone else pays for: “Someone else pays for the free trial of this site, so it cannot be deleted here. Ask them to cancel the trial. The site is removed when it ends.”
A domain you bought through Webplo for this site stops renewing when the site is deleted.
