Confirming & Cancelling
How confirmations and cancellations work for you and your customers.
Every booking sends emails to keep both sides in the loop. You can act from the Bookings page or straight from the email you receive.
Confirming a request
When a customer books and auto-confirm is off, you get a “New booking request” email. You can:
- Click Confirm booking in the email (no login needed), or
- Open the Bookings page and click Confirm on the pending card.
- Not a fit? Click Decline in the same email to cancel it in one click — no login needed.
The customer then receives “Your booking is confirmed” with a calendar invite.
Cancelling
- You cancel: click Cancel on the booking, confirm, and the customer is emailed “Your booking was cancelled” with a link to rebook.
- The customer cancels: they use the Cancel this booking link in their confirmation email. You're notified by email that they cancelled.
Good to know
- Confirmation and cancellation links in emails are secure and don't require an account.
- Cancelled bookings stay in your history (filter by Cancelled).
