Confirming & Cancelling
How confirmations and cancellations work for you and your customers.
Every appointment sends emails to keep both sides in the loop. You can act from the Appointments page or straight from the email you receive.
Confirming a request
When a customer books and auto-confirm is off, you get a “New appointment request” email. You can:
- Click Confirm appointment in the email (no login needed), or
- Open the Appointments page and click Confirm on the pending card.
The customer then receives “Your appointment is confirmed” with a calendar invite.
Cancelling
- You cancel: click Cancel on the appointment, confirm, and the customer is emailed “Your appointment was cancelled” with a link to rebook.
- The customer cancels: they use the Cancel this appointment link in their confirmation email. You're notified by email that they cancelled.
Good to know
- Confirmation and cancellation links in emails are secure and don't require an account.
- Cancelled appointments stay in your history (filter by Cancelled).
