Web Address (URL)
Change the free .webplo.ai address visitors use to reach your site.
Under Preferences → Domain you manage how people reach your site. The page is headed “Site URL” with “This is the web address visitors use to reach your site. Pick a short, easy-to-share name.”
You'll see two options: your free Webplo Address (ending in .webplo.ai) and
a Custom Domain (your own name like yourbusiness.com). Only one can be
active at a time.
Changing your Webplo address
- Click Change Webplo Address.
- Enter a new name (letters, numbers, and hyphens only) — e.g.
chunky-spaceship. - Review the before/after, then click Apply change.
Visitors using your old address are redirected to the new one for 30 days. You'll see “Your site URL has been updated”; it can take up to a minute to propagate.
Common messages
- “This name is reserved and cannot be used.” — pick a different name.
- “Enter a different address — this is already your current URL.”
- “Use only letters, numbers, and hyphens.”
