Quick start
Answer a few questions, start your free trial, and Webplo builds your site.
This is the shortest path from nothing to a live Webplo site. Each step links to a detailed page.
1. Start the wizard
Open webplo.com/start. On What are you creating?, choose A business site or An event page. See Choosing what to build.
2. Answer a few questions
For a business site, the wizard asks:
- What kind of business?
- What's it called?
- Where are you based?
For an event page, it asks What kind of event?, What's it called?, When is it? and Where is it?. Each screen has a Continue button, and the dashes at the top show your progress.
3. Confirm your email
On What's your email?, type your email address, tick the box to accept the Terms of use, and click Email me a code. Type the six-digit code that arrives and click Verify. That creates your Webplo account and signs you in. See Your email and the code.
4. Start your free trial and watch it build
Click Start free trial. Stripe's secure checkout asks for your card. The first 14 days are free and your card is not charged until day 14. When checkout is done, Webplo shows Building your site with three steps: writing your content, configuring your site, and running final checks. See Checkout and building.
5. Go to your site
When the build finishes you see Your site is live. Click Go to my site to open your site's Home tab. See The site home.
Your site starts on a temporary address. Before you share it widely, pick a permanent one on the Site tab, under Domain. See Your web address.
