Creating Event Occurrences

Add each date of your event — every date gets its own guest list and RSVP link.

An event website can host one date or many. The Dates section (“Manage every date for your event. Each has its own guest list and RSVP link.”) is where you create and publish them.

What to do

  1. Open your event and go to Dates.
  2. Click New date. You'll see “New date created — add the details below.”
  3. Fill in the date's details (see Occurrence Settings), then set its Status to Published so it accepts public RSVPs.

Status at a glance

Status Meaning
Draft Not yet accepting RSVPs (amber).
Published Live and accepting public RSVPs (green).
Closed No longer accepting responses (zinc).

Managing dates

Each row has a Guests button and a menu with Edit, Publish, Close RSVPs, Reopen, and Delete. Deleting asks “Delete this date?”“This permanently removes the date and its guest list. This cannot be undone.”

You can't delete the only date for an event — you'll see “You cannot delete the only date for an event.”
